Speakers:
Ken Pappas
brings more than 20 years of network security, product
management and marketing experience to Top Layer. Prior to joining Top
Layer, Ken owned and operated his own consulting firm specializing in
network security, held the Security Strategist title for the Security
Solutions division at 3Com Corporation/Tipping Point and was the
General Manager of the security business division at Enterasys
Networks.
Ken is a global keynote speaker and has spoken on security topics
to many industry and government groups including the Department Of
Homeland Security, Higher education consortia, National Retailers
Association, InfraGard, SIM International and NBC TV on the topic of
Cyber terrorism. Ken is a forensic expert and has recently completed
his CISM courseware. He also holds a security clearance with the
Department of Homeland Security.
John Sheedy,
Technical Marketing Mgr, Bradford Networks
John is Manager of Technical Marketing at Bradford
Networks, a leading provider of network access control (NAC) security
solutions. John has over 15 years of experience in the networking
industry, in areas of Technical Marketing, Competitive Analysis, Product
Marketing, and Product Management. Prior to Bradford Networks, John held
related positions at 3Com, Enterasys Networks, and Cabletron Systems.
John holds a Bachelors degree in Engineering from Rochester Institute of
Technology in Rochester, NY, and an MBA from Plymouth State University
in Plymouth, NH.
Juan Perez is
a Sr. Security Engineer with NH&A, LLC. He spent five years
as a security engineer for the U.S. Transportation Command, a Joint
Command for the U.S. Armed Forces. Mr. Perez is a CISSP with 8 years of
network security experience.
